The Burger Parlor

The Burger Parlor

Ever want to find that one place that reminds you of Arnold's from Happy Days? Where if you go in you know the food is going to be amazing, the people are always going to be friendly, and its a place you can go with your family or friends? This is that place to me. There is something to be said about that. I love a good burger, its really hard to see past all the greasy places that we just accept as good. In Downtown Fullerton the Burger Parlor shines above all. From the ambiance, to the high quality food, this place stands above the rest.
The Dstudent Burnt Kitchen came to this establishment, knowing their reputation for innovative and creative high quality food and shakes. Joseph Mahon is the head chef and creator of the amazing menu. He was welcoming and warm to us Dstudents when we met each other. We gave Joseph full control of what we ate. He ordered, the Kali, Smokey, OC, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and the sweet, traditional, and snack shack fries. Along with all this, he made us a Chocolate and Captain Crunch shake. Let me tell you, WE ATE LIKE KINGS!!! Everything was incredible, every bite was an explosion of flavor from the first to the last.
Lets break each one down one by one. The Kali, it had a sweet and smokey flavor to it that had an amazing finish with the avocado. The Smokey, by far the best barbecue bacon burger of my life! The bacon, the sauce, everything was incredible. The OC, this was my personal favorite overall. I love a good turkey burger, but this broke my expectations. I will go back just for this over and over, the patty and the sauce mixed with the carrot and sprouts created something I could have only dreamed of! The Crispy Chicken, you can tell if a place actually cares about quality with their fried chicken tenders. It was fried perfectly, the breading was crispy and the chicken was moist, between that and the siracha aoili the flavors progressed more as you kept eating it. The shakes were amazing, creamy and just the right amount of thickness, the Captain Crunch shake tasted like my childhood. The fries were insane, Joey doesn't like fries and he took and ate all the Sweet Potato fries. The chili on the Snack Shack fries was perfect, enough said, get them!
Overall Dstudents, you need to frequent here. The crew, the ambiance, and most importantly the food, everything about this place makes it feel like home. The Dstudent Burnt Kitchen will be returning here often. I have a lot more of their menu, and even their secret menu, yes they have one! This is a place that will become our Arnold's, and to that I raise my Captain Crunch shake and toast to new friends and old! Thank you Burger Parlor for making us feel so welcome.  We will be back very soon!
